Catalyst Mercantile in Mount Holly is a gem! Their curated selection of clothing, home goods, gifts, and bath & body treats is fantastic. The staff are warm and helpful, and the store has a such a welcoming vibe. I especially love that they support small makers and offer thoughtful, unique items you won’t find everywhere. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in town!

This store is amazing for a lot of reasons— but it’s awesome as a plus sized human to be able to shop in a boutique setting for clothes that fit my body. I loveeeee the styles they bring in, how the owners always keep the inventory fresh and fun, and how I can shop for gifts for a lot of different people in one place. Also, love how accepting they are of EVERYONE who enters their store— such a safe space. 10/10 recommend!

Catalyst Mercantile is my favorite place in Gaston County. First of all, their place is a whole vibe!!!!! It's girly, fun, and exciting. Second, the entire staff (especially the owners) have a blast doing what they do and make ME have a blast every time I step foot in their store. Third, THEY ARE SIZE INCLUSIIIIIIIIIVE! I'm a plus size girlie. Finding trendy clothes in boutique stores is difficult. NOT with CAT MERC. I love that they cater to EVERY BODY! Nothing makes me feel more seen and comfortable in my skin than celebrating women/humans in every shape, size, and form. Third, they have THE BEST sticker selection around! Fourth, I love that i can not only shop in person, but I can also shop online. Fifth, their social media game is on point! Sixth, I love women who support women. These ladies are here to be your biggest cheerleader. Each visit feels like going to hang out with your best friends. If you've never shopped with them or even if it's been a minute since you've visited, get out and support them!!!!!!!!! They bring all the joy to downtown Mt Holly.

Catalyst is a real gem in Mount Holly! Ever since coming to our little town they have boosted the appeal of downtown, created a welcoming environment for everyone, and continue to pour into our community all good things. They have an amazing selection of different items that support local artisans as well as size inclusive clothes for the professional and casual fit. The owners are the kindest people who make you feel like a lifelong friend even if you just went in for the first time. If you want a fun shopping experience as well as lots of amazing things, stop into Catalyst!

Catalyst in downtown Mt Holly is literally iconic. The owners are fantastic ladies and some of the funniest people around. You've gotta follow their IG! But of course they also have cute clothes, fun jewelry, and I love coming here when I need a gift for someone!

Best shop in Mt. Holly! Something for everyone, very inclusive on styles and sizes. Gorgeous jewelry, amazing bags, candles, bath bar & permanent jewelry. Owners and staff have hand picked designs and looks for me when I need help and they never disappoint. Uplifting atmosphere encouraging you to be your best unique self. This crew also has a heart of gold and has actively supported local schools, community nonprofits & small business events. You will never go wrong with Catalyst Mercantile.

Love this sweet local boutique! I’ve gotten some really unique pieces here over the past few years that I’ve gotten lots of compliments on. And they have a great assortment of handcrafted jewelry and bags, accessories, stickers, and fun gift ideas. The shop owner is warm, welcoming, and helpful, and they have the best little greeter/shop pup. This small local business really adds so much fun and charm to downtown Mt Holly!

I just made my first purchase from this store and it was wonderful. Years ago I'd seen a jacket pen that I really liked, and it was available all over the internet. Then, when I decided to buy them, there were none available, anywhere 😳. Fortunately for me, 'reverse image lookup' worked hard enough and found the pin I was looking for at Catalyst Mercantile. Isn't that the greatest name for a store?! The store's pricing is VERY reasonable, and the online ordering is easy to navigate, worked promptly and my order will be on the way soon. I highly recommend shopping and purchasing with Catalyst Mercantile.
